Award-winning special education educator and advocate expands support for families seeking guidance through IEPs, ARD meetings, and educational planning.
KATY, TX / ACCESS Newswire / June 16, 2026 / Fady Hanna, an award-winning special education educator, IEP advocate, and former Teacher of the Year honoree, has launched Bridge to Success Tutoring & Advocacy LLC, a Texas-based educational consulting practice dedicated to helping families navigate the increasingly complex special education system.
The launch comes at a time when many parents are seeking greater support in understanding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), preparing for Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and ensuring their children receive appropriate educational services and accommodations.
Bridge to Success Tutoring & Advocacy provides guidance to families through educational evaluations, IEP development, ARD meeting preparation, progress monitoring, and special education advocacy. The organization also offers individualized academic support and parent coaching designed to help families better understand the special education process.
“Many parents want to advocate for their children but often feel overwhelmed by the terminology, paperwork, and procedures involved,” said Hanna. “My goal is to help families feel informed, confident, and prepared so they can actively participate in decisions that impact their child’s education.”
Hanna brings a unique perspective to the field. Before entering education, he spent more than 15 years working internationally as a Senior Petrophysicist and Geoscientist in the oil and gas industry. During that time, he managed complex projects, analyzed large datasets, and led multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries.
After transitioning into education in 2020, Hanna earned certifications in Special Education EC-12, Core Subjects EC-6, and ESL Supplemental instruction. He later completed a Master of Education in School Administration with Principal Certification from Prairie View A&M University.
Throughout his career as a special education teacher, Hanna has worked with students with diverse learning needs, developing IEPs, facilitating ARD meetings, administering assessments, and implementing behavior intervention plans. His work earned recognition as a Top-3 Teacher of the Year Finalist during the 2022-2023 school year and Campus Teacher of the Year during the 2023-2024 school year.
According to Hanna, one of the biggest challenges families face is understanding how to effectively collaborate with schools while navigating special education regulations and documentation requirements.
“Successful outcomes happen when families and educators work together,” he said. “When parents understand the process and feel empowered to ask questions, it creates stronger partnerships that ultimately benefit students.”
In addition to his professional work, Hanna is actively involved in community service and founded a special needs Sunday school class at Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church in Katy, Texas. The program was created to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children with special needs within the faith community.
As awareness of special education services continues to grow, Hanna hopes Bridge to Success will serve as a trusted resource for families seeking clarity, guidance, and advocacy throughout their educational journey.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential,” Hanna said. “Sometimes families simply need someone who can help them understand the path forward.”
